about

The bi-annual celebration of all* the music I couldn't bear to finish and produce to a high enough standard to release on a good album: Unreleased & Unwanted 2015-2016 is all the offcuts and shite (and things that I want to be separate enough that if I get send a C&D for copyright infringement I can just take it down without really caring)

I wouldn't recommend listening to most of this album really, but there is some good stuff among the cruft. Here are the highlights:

Track 2 - vaguely decent remix of a great track
Track 3 - silly fun
Track 5 - more silly fun
Track 6 - haven't made music like this much, but it's actually pretty fun to, and it sounds decent enough too
Track 12 - I'm trying to be like Holly Herndon on this one, and not really succeeding, but I think it sounds cool all the same.
Track 16 - I'm trying to be like Purity Ring and not entirely failing?
Track 18 - Pretty pleasant. Nice n chill, but a bit loop-dependent. Arrangement tends to be quick and dirty on Unreleased & Unwanteds.
Track 20 - Decent song-y track. Production lets it down a bit, but I like all the parts it's made from
Track 24- Ludicrous, hilarious piece of music. I love the echo-y kick, the ridiculous lead synth (sounds like the "squids" from a track I'm working on with hiniko!)
Track 30 - Weirdly kind of acoustic-sounding, happy d'n'b-esque song-y thing. The drum sounds are pretty weak but the overall tune is just pretty cheerful.

Also, all of the following are mostly/entirely orchestral pieces. They all use sampled instruments exclusively but they're all kinda-decent: 4, 8, 9, 10, 19.
